How we price

  • Each started block (half hour or hour) is charged in full, as the posted blocks read.
  • Early bird and daily maximum apply when they are cheaper or when the cap is reached.
  • Where a page lists both a free or hourly period and an evening flat rate, we show both prices, because the page does not say which wins.
  • Santa Monica Five lots (SM-1 to SM-5) are $2 per hour with a 3 hour limit and no daily maximum. Their hours are not listed.

City rules for every structure

  • Free periods apply to the first entry of the day only. Re-entering pays posted rates.
  • A lost ticket pays the daily maximum.
  • EV charging on top of parking: $0.25 per kWh; station fee free for the first two hours, then $6 per hour.
  • Parking hours can change without notice.

Street meters

The City runs about 2,700 meters. Its meter rate map (dated June 15, 2015) shows $0.75, $1, $1.50 and $2 per hour bands, with $2 per hour across the Golden Triangle just south of the park. The map is old, so read the meter before you pay.

Art Show weekends

On Beverly Hills Art Show weekends (next: May 15 and 16, 2027) the City points visitors to the structures one to two blocks south of Santa Monica Boulevard.
